Our CAD/CAM system is designed with the mold making industry in mind. Cimatron helps us design molds faster, letting us start cutting the cavities and cores faster.

MACHINE SHOP EQUIPMENT

Our machine shop is a modern, clean, and friendly place. Inspection equipment from CMM, comparators, to hand micrometers are used. Most of our machine tools are CNC controlled but we have some manual equipment. Lights out operation as well as machining hardened tool steel is preformed daily. We use three axis-milling capabilities for contouring parts and parting lines. We have two axis turning capabilities as well. Our sinker EDM is four axis controlled with fine finish capabilities. We use five axes wire EDM capabilities for doing close tolerance mold insert work. We have grinding capabilities as large as 12.� X 24.� X 10.�. Gun drilling is used to speed cooling line machining up to 20 inches deep. We have profilers as well as ultrasonic polishing equipment. If we don�t have the equipment to handle the job, we have vendors that are capable of doing the job accurately.
